A local school, Lincoln Elementary, teamed up with Hy-Vee supermarket to bake pies for their school! They made the pies on site, and got $1 for each pie sold. I bought one, and it was HUGE!
Was weird though, I just grabbed a pie. A number of people were standing there, examining each pie slowly. Its a pie, what the heck were they looking for?
Regardless, that was a really cool fundraiser, I love when schools have something different than candy sales.
