This site gives examples of 42 different fallacies. Sure, we’ve all been on a forum online, where someone has tossed out to you that your retort is nothing but an Ad Hominem attack, and we’ve all heard that something was a Slippery Slope argument, but when is the last time you’ve been able to accuse someone of using a Gambler’s Fallacy? Or perhaps the more elaborate Ad Hominem Tu Quoque?
With this wonderful guide, you don’t just get to cut down the POSITION of someone because of what they think, but you can also attack how they argue it, as well.
In all seriousness, this was a wonderful guide, explained everything clearly, and not only will it help me see through some of the overly emotional arguments that others make, it will help me when it comes to making the same mistakes.
